The Truesdale Clinic in Fall River, MA is a $10 million, “out of the ground”, 45,800 square feet multi-disciplinary medical facility. Its rugged structural steel and concrete floors connect to the original 1960’s existing clinic. One unique aspect of the building is the exterior ventilated and insulated rain screen cladding system. The exterior wall envelope utilizes fiber cement, homogenous-color panels. While this system provides superior sound attenuation and insulation factors it is essentially a rear ventilating rain screen. The longevity of the insulation is increased and the composition of the panels gives them cold weather flexibility that resists frost damage and a non-combustible fire rating. The product is sustainable with a long life and is made from recycled materials.
Internally The Truesdale Clinic is home to multiple Doctors Groups including Surgical, Pediatric, Primary Care and Obstetric Gynecological practices. A portion of the original clinic was retrofitted to become a new Family Practice Center.
